Evalyn - CEO | Founder
Evalyn has been hairdressing for over twenty-five years and she has owned and operated her Sunshine Coast wedding business and hair salon since 2004.
Evalyn has made her mark as a highly recognised and award winning stylist and her work has been featured in many editorials, magazine covers and fashion shoots.
Literally thousands of happy brides have experienced Evalyn’s hair styling prowess to create their dream wedding hair. Evalyn is also a qualified Wella Colour Expert having recently completed the course. She spends a few days a week working with her salon team creating beautiful blondes and stylish haircuts and directing the team.
As leader of her team, Evalyn is always projecting ahead, refreshing herself and training her team in the latest looks and techniques.
When Evalyn isn't working, she loves to spend time with her husband Greg and their 5 beautiful children and two of her favourite hobbies are exercise and baking.

Emily | Salon Coordinator
Emily is our Salon Coordinator and Customer Service Extraordinaire! With over 10 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, Emily has a keen eye for detail and her exceptional organisational skills keep our salon running smoothly.
Emily will be able to curate a truly beautiful experience for all our cherished clients and guests. Whatever assistance you require during your visit, count on Emily to be there with a warm smile and dedicated support.
On weekends, Emily enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and family and taking her dogs, Cleo & Banks down to the beach with her husband, Jack.
Claire - Master Stylist | Salon Manager
Claire brings over 26 years of expertise in the hairdressing industry to the Sunshine Coast.
Having recently relocated here with her family, Claire comes to us with a wealth of experience she gained from her time at one of Hobart's largest and most prestigious salons.
Specialising in lived-in blondes, brondes, and creamy bright blondes, Claire is also a master of precision cutting. She tailors each haircut to suit your individual style and personality, ensuring a look that's both current and timeless.
When she's not behind the chair, Claire will be exploring the stunning landscapes of the Sunshine Coast with her family.
Jemma - Master Stylist
Jemma is one of our lovely Master Stylists. She moved to the Sunshine Coast from Melbourne over a year ago and has been absolutely loving her time here, soaking up the beaches and enjoying find the best coffee at our local cafes.
Jemma has been in the hairdressing industry for 7 years and loves all things foiling, creative colour and short fun cuts!
In her time away from the salon you can find Jemma spending time with her partner and pursuing her passion of dance.
Tori - Senior Stylist
Tori has been part of the Evalyn Parsons team for a number of years now and in this time she has perfected her skills in all aspects of colouring and cutting. She is also our Yuko Hair Straightening expert.
Her passion for creating beautiful hair and the care that she has for her clients is inspiring.
When she is not at work, Tori loves spending time with her family and her boyfriend. She also loves travelling and getting out in the great outdoors, camping and enjoying nature.
Stephanie | Senior Stylist
Stephanie has joined us after moving to the stunning Sunshine Coast from the UK just over a year ago.
She loves creating beautiful blondes & balayage looks and hopes to master her skills to specialise in extensions.
On her days away from the salon Stephanie is out exploring the gorgeous coast with her family.
Mali - Senior Stylist | Wedding Stylist
Mali is one of our experienced wedding stylists and also works part-time in the salon.
Her passion is styling, extensions and blondes. Her skills have been refined by working in the wedding industry for over 8 years and we are excited to have her on the team.
You'll find Mali spending time with her family and exploring their new coastal home when she's not at the salon or attending to one of our stunning brides.
Suzanne - Senior Stylist | Senior Wedding Stylist
Suzanne has been with the Evalyn Parsons team for well over 10 years and her warm, friendly nature is adored by our clients and brides.
Suzanne has perfected all wedding hair techniques from gorgeous loose upstyles, relaxed tousled buns to the ever-popular glamour wave. She is also in the salon part-time and has mastered the art of creating beautiful colours and style cuts for her clients. We love having Suzanne on our team!
When Suzanne is not in the salon or styling hair for our beautiful brides you will find her spending time with her family, keeping fit and catching up with friends.
Sami - Senior Stylist | Wedding Assistant
Sami is a passionate colour specialist dedicated to creating stunning lived-in blondes, rich brunettes, and vibrant colours. Her expertise extends to hair extensions, specialising in weft and tape methods for added volume and length. When Sami is not in the salon, you might find her assisting our talented wedding hair stylists, helping to create unforgettable bridal looks.
Sami was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and couldn't imagine herself living anywhere else.
On her days off from the salon you will find her relaxing at the beach or taking a dance class.
Anae - Emerging Stylist
Anae is our vivacious third-year Emerging Stylist, with an undeniable passion for all things hair. Her passion & skill is already showing in her incredible foiling work, beautiful cuts & blow-drys.
Beyond her styling talents, Anae is a master of relaxation. Indulge in a heavenly hair treatment and unwind with her soothing head massages at the basin.
When she’s not immersed in the salon world, Anae can be found expressing her creativity through song, maintaining her active lifestyle, or losing herself in a captivating book.
Brooke - Emerging Stylist
Meet Brooke, our newest hair enthusiast! A little shy at first, Brooke is soaking up every drop of hair knowledge like a sponge.
Brooke is on a mission to master the art of colour and blondes, and she's starting her journey right where it all begins – at the basin. Get ready for an unforgettable head massage as Brooke pampers you with luxurious lathers and heavenly rinses.
Out of the salon you'll find Brooke heading to the beach with her pooch or spending time with friends & family.
Micah - Assistant Salon Coordinator
Micah is our friendly and efficient Assistant Salon Coordinator. You'll often find Micah lending a hand to our team during the evening, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Whether you need a refreshing drink or want to book your next appointment, Micah is always happy to assist you.
Micah has spent the past year in Italy so if you fancy a little chat in Italian, Micah is your man!
Alyssa - Senior Stylist | Wedding Stylist
Alyssa is one of our talented Senior Stylists with a bright future ahead. She started so young in her career and reached qualified status when she was only 17, wow!
When you meet Alyssa you will find her bubbly and calming nature will immediately make you feel confident in the salon chair. Her passion is blow drying, wedding and specialty makeup + hair styling, and creating a full colour and cut service for her clients.
When she is not at the salon, Alyssa loves hanging out and taking walks by the beach with her fiancé Nathan and her puppy, Ruby.
Amelia - Weddings Administration
Amelia does an amazing job liaising with our beautiful brides and making sure their experience with Evalyn Parsons is seamless - we would be so lost without her! From replying to all our bride emails through to booking in their hair trials and ensuring the wedding days run smoothly, Amelia is the person who keeps a lot of the behind the scenes happening. If you call the salon for an appointment you will often speak to Amelia as she also gives phone support to our salon team.
Amelia loves living on the Sunshine Coast with her young family, so on weekends you will find her discovering all that our local region Sunshine Coast has to offer.
Emily - PA | Business Administration
After 18 exhilarating months exploring the world, Em has finally returned to her happy place; the Sunshine Coast!
Coming back also means rejoining the wonderful team at Evalyn Parsons. Her love for organization and keeping things running smoothly makes her a natural fit as Evalyn's PA & Business Administrator. She thrives on helping to ensure everything stays on track for a successful and productive work environment.
But when it's time to unwind, you'll find her embracing Caloundra's active lifestyle, enjoying kitesurfing, hitting the trails for a walk or run, or simply catching up with loved ones.
